We often put a lot of pressure on ourselves. Achieve more at work. Improve our performance in exercise. Be a better person. Get more from your life.

When looking at your plan for 2015 and deciding what you’d like to achieve this year include some fun items that you’ve always wanted to do. Learn to dance, master a recipe, learnt to juggle.

Three fun goals that I have for this year are:

  1. Learn the words to this Billy Joel song. I’ve always loved the song and learning the 100 headlines featured in the song is a real challenge. I’m almost done with the first verse.
  2. Learn to solve a Rubik’s Cube. These things pop in my life from time to time and I never even know where to start. I have no clue how to solve this, without peeling off the stickers and re sticking them into place.
  3. Learn to make a song. I like electronic music and have always been interested in the composition of this type of music. I’m going to learn to make a song (from sctratch). I think this is going to be a bigger challenge than I think and is most likely going to sound terrible – but I’ll post it when I’ve done it.

Let me know if you’ve got something fun that you’d like to learn in 2015 – it’d be great to hear from you.
